SUPPLEMENTARY INVESTIGATION ON SANITARY KNICKERS

Four supplementary questions relating to the use of sanitary knickers were asked of women in three of the occupational groups dealt with in the Occupational Clothing Survey.

521 Women were interviewed in Occupation 1. Engineering Machinists.
154 Women were interviewed in Occupation 2. Heavy Engineering and Shipbuilding.
287 Women were interviewed in Occupation 3. Iron and Steel Manufacture.
Total of Women interviewed: 965

A composite table is given, comparing the answers made to the four questions by the women in each of the three occupational groups interviewed.
