IV. EXPENDITURE ON BOUGHT CAKES

On an average the housewife who bought cakes the week preceding the investigation spent 7½d. per head per week on cakes for her household.

If no record of the family size is taken, and only the total amount spent by the housewife during the week on cakes is recorded, the following table

is obtained:
